This Nassau County park offers many activities to visitors, including horseback riding, athletic fields, mountain biking and hiking.

There is much to enjoy at Stillwell Preserve such as abundant plant and wildlife and impressive views north towards the tall ridges of the Harbor Mill Moraine in Cold Spring Harbor. The highlight of Stillwell Woods is definitely the mountain bike trail. (White triangular blazes) A one way loop about 5 miles long with skill level options. The trails are separate dedicated use although hikers and runners are often seen on the bike trail as it gets more use and is better maintained.

No dogs are permitted on the path! We took a chance and made the trip, but found out No Dogs are permitted upon arrival.
